Follow-Up:
You need to get your hands on an image editing software. I'm going to assume you have Photoshop. First you open your file at the size you want the letters. Then, select a color. Select the type tool and type your word. The word will apear in the color and size you select. Copy the layer the word is on. This will create a new layer with the word on it. Select the outline of the word and fill with the color "black" or a similar dark shade. Deselect the outline. Run the filter "Gaussian Blur" on the layer at anywhere from 2.0 to 5.0, depending on the size of the letters. Move this layer behind your main letters to create the shadow. Use the move tool, and what I do is move it with the arrow tools down 4 and to the right 4. To create a gif from this, you go to mode>index>adaptive. From there I usually choose 5 or 6. Then go to mode>rgb. Then back to mode>index exact. Press okay. Then file.export>gif'89. Choose the background color for transparency. Export away! That should do it. I'm assuming you have Photoshop and a basic understanding of how it works. If you have any questions, you can contact me at wangzen@usa.net.
